Stefan D. Fink studied electrical engineering at the University of Munich with energy technology as a special subject.
Before his training to become Patent Attorney, he spent three years as a junior scientist at the Forschungsstelle für Energiewirtschaft (FfE), a not-for profit energy industry think tank in Munich. There, he specialised in the field of regenerative energy sources and battery-operated electric vehicles. After this, he joined Siemens AG, spending more than two years at this global company’s patent department, working on assembly techniques for semiconductors, chip cards and power semiconductors.
Following this, he was hired by a patent law firm, where he was entrusted with patent law issues as well as organising client activities in connection with the law relating to inventions by employees.
In 2003 he went on to found his own office. Stefan D. Fink is a licensed German Patent Attorney as well as a European Patent and Trademark Attorney and has extensive experience in all areas of the legal protection of industrial property rights. His professional interest is especially directed towards the fields of semiconductor technology, information technology, automobile and power engineering and software inventions. Furthermore, he is an expert in matters relating to circuits and power engineering as well as automotive engineering.
